Hi i drive an old 1980 Audi 80 gl 1.6 every time i switch my car of and go back to the car about 30 minutes after i have to disconnect the fuel pipe connected to the carberator and suck petrol to get the car started the petrol doesnt stay in the pipes and filter it keeps on running back to the fuel tank. And sometimes when you pull away at stop streets and so the car tends to die. I replaced the filter and the pipes and cleaned the carberator but it still does that please help me out :D

I have no idea on Audi what type of system then use especially that old.. I know some carb's have a check valve in then to stop the fuel running back to the take after shut off I would do some re-search and see if this is the case in your carburetor.
