I have a 1995 Ford Taurus wagon. It bogs Down but doesnt die, kind of like a miss but it is not the engine(I dont think). I have done a tune up, replaced the fan controller and the mass air flow sensor, but none of that has helped. I am not sure what to do next.

How much exhaust is coming out of the pipe when the bogging occurs? I know you can't tell while driving, but as soon as you stop have someone with you to accelerate and see if there seems to be a restriction in the exhaust system. Also the TPS(Throttle Position Sensor) may be at fault. Let us know. Being way2old is why I need help from younger minds
