Clutch Cable Mustang Sign In

I have a 98, 5 speed, v6 mustang with a 3.8. Recently had a new clutch install and the cable stretched and is loose. How do I tighten it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Smile

Re: Clutch Cable Mustang Sign In

This clutch cable has a self adjusting mechanism at the peddle assembly. So if the clutch feels to low when it engages; you’ll have to determine whether it’s a stretched cable, something wrong with the self adjuster or a defective clutch assembly.
