I have a 2000 Lincoln Navigator and the defrost blows full when you shut it off. It keeps blowing after you take the key out and shut the door, and it does not stop. A couple days before this started, #3 cylinder started misfiring. Not sure if they are related but I bought plugs and plug wires and I am gonna get a coil for that cylinder. As of now, I have the climate control box unplugged so not to run the battery down. My initial thought is to replace the the climate control box but that will be expensive and I was hoping for others input. Thanks!

If someone sold you plug wires for that truck, you'd better go get your money back because that truck doesn't have any. As for your blower problem, you likely have a bad blower motor speed control module. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.
