Year: 2001 Make: Dodge Model: Intrepid Engine Size: ??? Mileage: 102k Alright, this has been happening for about a week or so. For the most part, my car runs fine. Occasionally, though, the car will feel like it "jerks" for a brief moment while in motion. When it happens, the RPMs drop by between 100 and 300, then immediately pick back up again. The loss looks related to the severity of the jerk. It doesn't seem to happen with any consistency. Sometimes it'll do it once, sometimes it happens several times in quick succession, and sometimes it never happens at all over an entire trip. However, it does seem like it only occurs between the range of 35 and 65 mph. At least, I don't recall it ever happening outside that range. The only recent change on my car is an air compressor replacement, along with its related belt. Any ideas?

The "jerking" is probably engine about to stall. Get code readings even if no light is on there could be help waiting with what area to chase down, T
