I have a 2016 Nissan pathfinder platinum with 60k. When I turn right drivers side front tire makes sound of metal rattling. I have an audio recording but I am not sure how to post. Can someone please help me diagnose? Thanks

Thanks for advice. Took wheel off knocked some small road sentiment loose from behind rotor and that seems to have fixed the problem.

There is only one way these type of problems get diagnosed and that is to remove the wheel and look for the problem.

Do it soon as this could be something dangerous like a loose wheel.

Check your cv axle first as that is the common prob.

I had the exact same thing happen to me a about two years ago, and I've got a 2014 so would've been about the same age at the time.

Happened all of a sudden while driving and it was LOUD. Metallic rattling sound, not like a grinding. I pulled over and looked around, couldn't see anything, got back in and the sound was gone.

I took it to the dealership and they couldn't find any issue. Never heard it again.

OP solved problem on this editing in what was found! I'll close this out as solved now no more guessing was GREAT the he/she took Hammer Time's advice and checked for loose wheel plus took it off so much the better.
While here and for the record anyone reading if recent work where wheels were removed for any reason it's STILL an error to leave them "finger tight" started awaiting a faster tool to actually torque to specifications.
Old as the hills the chances are greater than a LEFT side wheel in this case it was would come loose vs a RIGHT side! Why? There's a "resonance" that makes direction of rotation rattle them looser not tighter.

Old phart here they used to make left side wheels reversed threaded to prevent that but too many folks busted them off turning them the wrong way to quit that!
