Electronic dash won't work Sign In

1993 chevy s-10 Blazer. Dash quit working. replaced with a used dash but it still isn't working. I have somebody working on it and they think it may be the computer that it connects to. Wondering if thats a possibility or if it may be something else. He says that there is a 5amp fuse that is not putting out anything. Can use some great suggestions in this area. Thanks in advance.

When you say:

Do you mean it’s completely dark as if the ignition was off or does it light up but not showing current/complete info?
I’m away from the shop for the next couple of days and don’t have access to my manuals. So I can’t look up how it’s wired or who feeds power too who?
I’m also curious about this 5-amp fuse; did buddy have the parking lights on when he tested the fuses for power? The dash light fuse won’t have power unless the headlight switch is on.
If you want I’ll have a look when I’m back on Monday, if so bump this back up to the top to remind me.
Dan.
I guess I should have logged on before posting. I told you I wasn't at the shop. LOL
