I am from the UK and we currently have two vehicle which arn't road worthy wasting away in our back yard, one has a perfectly good engine which we want to remove and place into the other vehicle, I plan to get a mechanic to do the switch I just want to know if it's reasonable request before I approach a mechanic.

Both Engines are Diesel.

The Engine is going into a citroen berlingo(small van):
2005
Make of vehicle (Citroen)
Model of vehicle ( Berlingo) (600D LX)
Engine size (1868cc)
(Unsure of mileage)

and the Engine is coming from a Peugeot 206SW
Year: 2003
Make of vehicle (Peugeot)
Model of vehicle (206 SW)
Fuel Type: Heavy Oil
Engine Size (CC): 1997

What, are you kidding me? That's like going in for your heart transplant and the doctor tells you he's going to use a frogs heart he has laying around. You have just as much chance of it working.
