Engine dies when hot.

I have a 2000 pontiac grand am and it dies when the engine gets hot and cranks back up when it cools down a bit, it has 139,000 miles on it and runs great, just this problemm can some help?

Sound like a possible fuel pump problem. A lot of times when a fuel pump is failing it will quit when hot and then restart when cool. Once it dies you can squirt a bit of carb cleaner down the throttle body to see if it starts. Once you have established lack of fuel being the problem you can go from there. Jeff
