Ford Edge 2014 bad alignment or wheelbearing? Sign In

I bought recently a 2014 Ford Edge from Carmax. I also got the max care warranty from them.
Everything is great except there's this whistling noise that I believe is the wheelbearking.
So I took it to the shop and they claim the noise is because "chopped tires" due to bad alignment.
Recently I had a friend of mine scan it and 3 errors came out.
All three on ABS and referring to "wheel speed sensor", both front tires and right rear tire.
Now, my problem with carmax claim is the tires were brand new when I purchased the car and I drove another 3,000 miles since then and I can't see ANY KIND of uneven wear on the tires. They still look like brand new.
Second the whistling is continuous and increases with speed. I would think the chopped tires would make more like a wavy whistle.
Carmax solution was to replace the tires and perform an alignment.
Is there a possibility that Carmax is right?
I'd hate to spend around 600 for new tires and alignment.
Thank you all,

? You've driving NEW tires just 3,000 miles and they show nothing wrong but hear this "whistling" that's speed related - right?
If a noise is the issue and tires or wheel something would follow the ONE or more if you just rotated them, keep track of where they go.
Tires aren't known to whistle to me rather growl or object noticed worse on turn maybe.
The bearings and brake parts plus 1/2 shafts do move is much more likely just finding what of any of that, that moves at the speed of the wheel to road.
Other bearing noises if so almost all get worse on turns when shifting load on wheels.
Brake noises get better or worse when braking (left foot it lightly) or not.
Other again: Just a dust shield could be bent and who knows what noises they could make with air or rubbing much more likely IMO.
Sorry to hear they seem to blame tires just like that doesn't seem quite right without being obvious wear pattern to see or feel by hand,

PS on edit: Codes could be metallic dust flying around ABS parts bad or just catching it??

Cupped tires will make more of a roaring noise rather than a whistling noise. It's pretty easy to just rotate the tires and see if the noise changes or moves.

3000 miles is too soon to get irregular wear in the tires.

I would be more inclined to look for wind noises from the doors or windows.
