I have gas from front tank going into rear tank. Just found gas dripping from cap, havent put gas in rear tank for months, now it's full??????????!!!! Recently had problems ( unresolved ) with rear tank not getting gas to carb? When using the rear tank the engine usually cuts out. Sooooooo I have only been using front tank, any advice and estimates ( ballpark ) for someone fixing it???????? Something I and a friend might be able to tackle?????? THANKS!

Not certain but I think the fuel pumps are thier own check valve. You have had problems with the rear tank getting fuel pressure to run the engine so my guess it that's the problem. With some trickery if it still pumps at all you might be able to plug off hoses and at least empty that tank and isolate it from the other - you need to get the gas out of it anyway and probably would like to be able to use that gas, T
