Went to use car for first time since August 2016 and could not start it. Battery has plenty of juice, spark plugs are clean and engine turns over but will not fire up. Did not have a spark at first, but after replacing the ignition coil, points, distributor condenser and king lead I now have a spark but still does not fire up. There is fuel in the tank, albeit from last year. The vehicle is a 1973 3.0 litre V6 Automatic with just 67,000 on the clock. Serviced and MOT'd this time last year and I have done less than 100 miles since, but it has always started OK. Thanks.

Gas starts to go stale in 3 months. Why would you expect it to be good after a year? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.
