I have a 92 chev. 1500 Silverado 5.7. Engine quit going down road truck dies won't restart. Changed module in dist. And cap and Rotor, engine started. Every since then I have one injector that intermittently stops spraying other one continues to work . have been told it has to be either dist. or computer. Can't afford to just throw parts at it and hope

The injectors both receive constant power that should be verified. Use a noid light bulb to determine if the injector is receiving a continuous signal. The injector is operated by a driver in the ECM on pins C15 and C16. You have to determine if the pulsing ground signal is leaving the ECM or not. Do not test it with anything but a LED bulb or you will damage the ECM. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.
