GAUGES GOING CRAZY

I have a 2004 Cavalier with 52,000 miles on it and am having serious problems with all gauges except the temperature on the dash. The speed odometer does not show the correct speed. I can sometimes reset it by clicking the key and it will cause it to drop approx 5 mph with each click but it normally stays pegged to where it covers the first two numbers of the odometer I do mostly city driving so the most I ever see is 45 mph. The tach will normally drop to 0 when setting and then give some strange reading that you can tell is not right by listening to the engine. The fuel gage has spun past full and back around to where it is pointing straight down. Any suggestions as to what might be wrong and what I might be looking at cost wise?

did you have the dash out for anything?? it seems like your dash cluster is grounding out somehow. anyone install a radio or something recently. check the connector on the rear of the cluster __________________________________________________ 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee 2002 Ford Ranger 2004 Toyota Corolla 1969 Ford Mustang Mach 1
