Year of vehicle: 2005
Make of vehicle (Ford/ Chevrolet): Chevy
Model of vehicle ( Taurus/ Cavalier): Equinox
Engine size (2.0/ 5.7): not sure!
Mileage/Kilometer: 128K

Hi, my husband just said that since I haven't driven my car yesterday or today and the heat index has been in the high 90's to 115 for the past few days, I should go out and start it and let it run for a little while. It sits outside all the time (no garage.) I have never heard of this before, it he on the right track?

Thanks!
