Help! Renault Clio - Bonnet Replacemet

Morning all Driving along yesterday with my two young daughters in my old 2007 Renault Clio (secondhand runaround). On Motorway, bonnet flips up and smashes front window. Not ideal, but all safe and now seen this is a fairly common issue with this car with bonnet latch being faulty. Anyway, it was with such force that the bonnet lid needs replacing (as well as the latch/hinges probably). Is this easy to do myself, or where is best to get it done? A garage or bodyshop? As far as I can tell, it shouldn't cost too much as replacement part is only about £100. In fact, I have another renault clio where I could take the bonnet off if easy. All help appreciated

Bummer! This isn't sold to the US where site is. Doesn't matter if just to take one off and put back. From age old training you would "scribe" how it mounts at hinge/supports VERY carefully. Means a tiny scratch, exactly done. For me or most would then take help or helpers to hold it to put back also be exact. Lower to closed SLOWLY, watching that it's right or you'll chip the edges of paint, the bonnet (hood) or the fenders. Avoid that, Tom

To add: You must have identical, undamaged parts to duplicate the way it attaches. Many ways, plain hinge exposed or if hidden more effort. Mark both. If not right on stop and get help IDK how heavy if a tool to hold/suspend hood would be used for this or how done. Some repairs require taking off parts. Since this went back enough to bust window may be bent items so you risk causing more damage doing this, Tom
