post icon Help With A Battery Sign In

Hey Everyone, i need help my battery is side post and used to the cables would go on no prob.

but in the past month everytime i tighten it up it pops right back lose it want tightn up at all.

what can i do? now i cant even start my car

Sounds like you have stripped the threads out of the battery terminal. A new battery is the repair.

You can purchase adapters or replace the cable ends with the top post type. Then you will need to be sure the new battery will clear under the hood. The best connection will be if you replace the terminal ends and install a top post battery. Just be sure the cables will be long enough to install on the new battery. Good luck.
