2009 town and country- 160,000/ 5.8 engine
I have a humming noise coming from the rear of the van
Changed all hub assembly’s front and rear and the noise is still there, I’m kinda at a loss what to check now, anyone have any ideas ? I’m going to rotate my tires and see if that helps, but I’m looking for some directions on what to do next

Yes, rotate the tires. If the noise moves to the front and gets even louder, replace those tires.

I did rotate the tires and the humming is still there, seems like when I get to about 55/65 it’s a little louder, seems to be coming from drivers side if the center if the van, any ideas what I should loom for ???

Then there is nothing else actively moving in the back. It has to be coming from somewhere else.

Hmmm? All hubs new and no changes moving tires/wheels around? Good one. From top said that can sound like from the rear so would hoist the rear wheels should just spin by hand like a trailer it essentially is. See if new out of the box just lousy luck it was a bearing and a bad new one right away.
Questions Dennis: What prompted you to do ALL bearings? Was this under water over hubs? Could you feel the bad one when off it's near impossible they were all bad can feel in hand when off will free spin but not when new just sticky from being new, new grease sealed in can't really tell yet.
I know I'm up for debate on this but wouldn't replace a bearing unless thought then known bad like to know it was bad in hand is the last and best feel that you were not fooled by it being another or just wrong that was the cause.
So IMO except for water submersion is IMO a good bearing is good and new is unproven till put to use even right away really can and many bad for me box still on the floor just no good,

I had a tranny line replaced that was leaking and the guy told me the bearings were going so I changed the rear one my self and the noise went away, the hubs were about halfway under water after I tried to launch a boat, so I figured I screwed them two up so I got new ones, I just found out my son didn't change out the rear passenger side, because he was tired of messing with them, they were reall hard to get off, so in going to change it out this weekend and see what happens, ill let you know

Aha! That can do it. Just FYI why: Any warm (they get warm) sealed hub still has air. When dunked the cool or cold water sucks right in dammit.
OK you might be able to tell if real quiet with rear wheels up again. There wouldn't be any free-play or you would have lost the whole wheel by now. Still when off and in your hands you can just feel the very slightest feel vs a good one. It should be 100% silent and no feel if moving or coasting. If it will then it's just so nice you are much more sure if free I would toss a known good one - have seen assorted bearings simply just never fail there was a day they made things with "forever" in mind!
