Intermitant ABS Skid Control trouble light Sign In

I own a 2011 BMW 328I Coupe that has developed a perplexing issue. The OBC is sending a trouble message and icons saying my ABS stability system is malfunctioning. It will stay on for a while but no specific period of time and then disappear. I was told by the good folks at three different auto parts stores that the code should be held on the computer memory but it hasn't been. This car has multiple sensors that could be effected. My local O'Riley Auto Parts ran a code scan on the car and could find nothing. Anyone else have this problem? Any ideas?

To find an ABS code you need to access the ABS module..

This requires a high end scan tool.... More than likely their equipment isn't reading the correct module....

Their code reader is only good for scanning the OBD2 side of the DME. Even if they could scan the abs controller and give you a code, it still would need to be properly troubleshot. Parts stored can't troubleshoot and often guess and sell you something that doesn't fix it.
