Lincoln Acceleration Issue

My 2009 Lincoln MKS with 118,000 miles is off of a fresh tune up and fill up. Runs fine until acceleration and then bogs down, runs rough, and engine light flashes, Also engine makes a throaty roar when this occurs. Engine returns to normal when at idle. Any ideas?

1st thing change your user name that appears as an address! Just choose anything else not taken or be spammed out of control.
The car should have good codes to help if just after a so called tune up suspect something isn't put back unless it did it before also why did you accept it back with same issue?
IDK: Check all air intake items are on and things plugged in or find other such things with a plug and nowhere to be find how far that reaches for what was left off.
Basing this on a "right away" or "fresh" as you put it "tune-up" it was touched so what happened?
If you paid for it leave here and contact who did the work to re-check it there has to be a code to read anyway,

Thanks. I will change that. The tune up was about a month ago and car ran fine until this weekend when the problem started after a fill up. Engine light came on briefly, car ran rough and then seemed to get better. I called about getting computer diagnosis but they said light must be on. Light goes out when car returns to normal idle. Was not an issue before the tune up or the fill up. Just wondering if bad fuel could be an issue? Thanks

That was fast. Look back it changes both and still the same discussion. OK, so it was fine for a while after now this?
Codes still really help find the direction or circuit showing a problem. So if caused by this tune-up I'd still go right back you could glance and see if something isn't in place or came loose or anything touched isn't plugged in now. Doesn't take long in years for just plug in anything for those to be brittle.
I'm stuck without codes or a reason other than the recent work that it came out as intended first so back it goes is what to do.
Do not delay and keep running it with it running lousy it's horrible to converters and can make a small issue very costly. I could check you didn't say where you or the car is but if US the Thanksgiving Holiday is just one of very few shops will shut down tight see what you can find out I still think this goes back to the work that was done just make sure they are even dealing with anything before the time off so both of you can plan around it. Car shouldn't be driven far like this or not at all if you don't feel in control of it,

Even if the light goes out, the computer still stored continuous trouble codes in memory. The check engine light flashing means you have a catalyst damaging misfire. Doing a power balance test or seeing what codes are stored can give some direction.

If it is running good now I would wait until it's time to fill it again and see if that triggers the problem again.
If so I would check for a stuck open EVAP purge valve.
