Hi Guys Bought Mitsubishi Pinin 4 days ago & having problems. Can anyone through any light on it for me please? Car is 7 years old with 1800 engine and 47000 miles on clock. Drove it home from Manchester (140 miles) and went like a dream. Started it Thursday am with no problem and again then 6pm, Friday am started fine. Left work Friday 530 but got nothing but clicking. got jump start and started straight away. Drove approx 15 miles, stopped for 30 minutes and started again with no problem. Thought that maybe door had been closed properly and interior light left on and drained battery. Started it up Saturday morning with no problem but didn't go any where. Tried again yesterday afternoon but nothing just clicking. Jump started it and took it for a 40 mile blast on the motorway. Tried again this morning and now just clicking again!! Think I'm going to cry!! HELP!!

It doesn't sound a like a real serious problem. You should start off with making sure the battery is good. Get that checked. If it's bad, replace it. You also want to put a voltmeter on the battery while the car is running to make sure it's charging. It should be in the 13.5v to 14.8v range. If you still have a problem with the battery going flat after letting the car sit. The next step would be to check the system for a draw.
