My 2006 Chevy Malibu only has 114K miles on it. On very cold mornings, or on a very cold day after sitting a long time, when it starts the electronics go a little crazy. Low fuel light comes on, then it jumps to 1/4 tank. Bells dinging. ABS light. Locked light. A few times I've even seen messages like power steering not working. Once it warms up, all is well. I told the guy at the garage, he says it is probably a computer card, but he has to see it happen. So after leaving it at the dealer overnight on a cold night of course it doesn't do it for him. This happens every winter ONLY, so I don't think it is a battery or alternator. Any ideas?

They most likely kept the car indoors for security so the temp wasn't cold enough to bring out the problem. I agree with them that is is likely a module issue but they are correct in needing to reproduce the problem. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.
