Hi, just got a call from a ford dealer where my focus is being serviced, and they've said my anti-roll bar brushes are snapped is this an mot failure? it can't be good because they want £112 to fix it and another £250 to fix the power steering unit which is leaking how serious are they? not good obviously

Not sure what you mean by brushes?? If the sway bar bushings are worn they usually aren't too expensive but they have nothing to do with the power steering fluid. The power steering fluid could be leaking from the rack and pinion and they do cost some $$ (pounds) about what you said if my last look at exchange rates is about right,
