Re: No spark Sign In

First off, there are no codes that mean any component is bad. They merely indicate a specific situation that requires further diagnosis.

Now, what is the code numbers being set?

Before the ECM change and after ECM change.

Did you did this yourself? Did the transfer the PROM?

Re: No spark Sign In

ECM won't cause loss of spark on a bypass ignition system anyway unless the ignition control module is stuck in EST (electronic spark timing) mode and the ECM is faulty at the same time, which never happens. Under 400 rpm, the ignition control module isn't in EST mode. You could unplug the ECM on a known good vehicle and you will have spark on that system. You should be looking at power and ground to the ignition control module, faulty ignition control module, and/or pickup coil problems.

Since we volunteer our time and knowledge, we ask for you to please follow up when a problem is resolved.
