Noise from wheel after longer drives

2007 Honda CRV with 200,000km
After longer highway drives there seems to be a clicking or ticking noise that can be heard coming from one of the wheels. The noise is most noticeable when driving next to an object that reflects the noise back (i.e. highway barrier). It seems more noticeable at highway speed and less or not at all at city speeds.
Ideas on what it is?

simple easy things first...if applicable remove hub caps for a test, might want to inspect CV joints and boots.
