I am not familiar with gauges but I recently had to have I think they were called oil return hoses replaced. I have just started paying attention to the oil pressure gauge. I noticed that starting in cold weather that the gauges stays closer to 60 until its been running awhile and then drops to between 40 & 50. Also noticed that after starting cold the gauge does not move down stays near 60 even when idling. After running awhile when slow down or idling the gauge moves down to below 40. Is this normal or do I need something else replaced?

This sounds fairly normal. 60 seems high but the factory gauges may be off a bit and it will normally lower at idle or when warmed up, T
