Overheating Chevy lumina Sign In

1998 Chevy lumina
I have changed thermostat and flushed radiator, car goes from cold to hot them drops back to cold heat comes and goes.

That means there is air in the system. This could be because either all the air wasn't removed when filled or it has a blown head gasket pumping combustion gasses into the cooling system.
