I have a Rover 25, 2001, 78k miles on clock. It recently started having overheating problems and has been in my local garage for 2 weeks, but the mechanic is now totally flummoxed. He has replaced the radiator, thermostat and checked all the hoses. The head gasket and water pump were changed last year. He has also checked the inlet manifold. Any more ideas from you good guys?

That really doesn't mean a thing in the current situation. It only takes one good overheating to create a whole new head gasket issue. Even then you are assuming the previous head gasket job was done properly which may not be the case.

It appears you may need a more highly experienced mechanic to inspect this vehicle.
