Paint coming off 2002 Mitsubishi Eclipse

I have a black, 2002 Mitsubishi Eclipse, and in the past year I've noticed the paint coming off the top of my car and on the top of the trunk. I've noticed this on a few other Mitsubishi Eclipses around town as well, where the paint is coming off. I have almost 80,000 miles on the car, so I anticipate only having it for another year or two, and don't want to spent too much money. Can I touch this up on my own, without spending a ton of money and time? Would I need to paint the whole car or just where the white spots are? What would be the best products to use? Thanks in advance for your help.

any paint repair you attempt to do yourself without any body work experience, will always come out looking like you did it yourself in your driveway. for piece of mind i would take it down to the body shop and get an estimate. only they would be able to tell you if you need to paint the whole car or if they can blend the paint. __________________________________________________ 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee 2002 Ford Ranger 2004 Toyota Corolla 1969 Ford Mustang Mach 1
