Passkey Sign In

We had a bad lightening storm in our area last night. I went to start my 2000 Jeep but it would not start. There is a key with a circle and a line thru it lighting up on my dash. My question is could the lightening cause my passkey/ingintion resistor to mess up to where I can't start my car. If so can this be easily fixed or do I have to have the expence of a certified mechanic? They say it might be my fuel pump but that key that is lighting up on my dash I want to say something is not right with my ignition?

Re: Passkey Sign In

I think you are correct in your assumption. I don't deal in very many Chrysler products and can't tell you if it can be bypassed. Maybe one of the others here has the knowledge to help you. OOOOHHHHHHHH Dan!!
