I bought a Peugeot 206 on 16th June for £1990. 24 hours later i had a problem with it, the engine kept cutting out and there were warning lights on the dashboard. I brought it back to the dealer who arranged to have it fixed. The car had new spark plugs and a new coil and it was returned to me on the 24 June. The next morning on my way to work there was simultaneous flashing of the Sport and Snow lights on the dashboard. They were not on the next time i started the engine and haven't been on since. Do you think it is something i should worry about??

I would be grateful for any advice please.

Thank you

Re: Peugeot 206 Sign In

Warning lights when engine cut out would be normal as ignition is on, engine not running it is really in "bulb check" mode in a way.

These other lights that were flashing suggest a type of traction control that you could change at will. Are you familiar with how that is supposed to operate? I'm not familiar with the car at all but all share basics.

Since you just bought it bring that up with the dealer now. You said it isn't doing that now so if it's operating properly there probably wont be anything to find but something may be wrong. Do read operator's manual to know how to set and when appropriate for any traction controls which it sounds like it has,
