Hello and thanks for reading my post. I have a 2004 Platina, it had worked very good until a year ago, when someone else crashed it. It was ridiculous, we were travelling at some speed near 21 m/h and the front basically destroyed. The other car didn't even have a scar.
Since that day, we sent it to the insurance's mechanic. But it wouldn't start at times.
So we sent it to another mechanich, who noticed the car had some unplugged wires. But it still won't start. He gave up and we sent it to another mechanich, who thinks the problem is some valve or sensor that tells the car to start.
The thing is, the car starts sometimes, and others it just doesn't. A few times, it cranks slower than normal, and always (when it starts and when it doesn't), the car's lights fade. Also, when it starts, sometimes the car is running, you break, and it won't advance for some seconds. These problems are mostly when the weather is cold. It is not the distribution band, it has been changed before. The car has around a 70,000 mileage. I'd aopreciate any help :)
