Hey I have a 1994 Ford Explorer 6.0 with 120,000 miles. I can wiggle the battery post cables around till the lights come on but when I try to start it it clicks and the battery dies. Do I need a new battery

in 1994 the ford explorer came with a 4.0ltr V6 engine.... it seems like your problem is strictly in the battery terminals. first step clean the battery posts and cable terminals then tighten down the cables to the posts clean and tighten the connection at the starter as a side note....i would also recommend replacing the cables since they are 14 yrs old. if none of the above works, have the charging system load tested. __________________________________________________ 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee 2002 Ford Ranger 2004 Toyota Corolla 1969 Ford Mustang Mach 1
