Power Steering System

Howdy all, I recently had a new pressure hose made for my 1988 Toyota Supra engine and after getting everything back together I'm surprised to find no power steering. I've filled the reservoir twice and it now stays at the appropriate level, but I don't have any power. It's not leaking out anywhere that I've found, and I've poked around online a bit and found some mention of making sure there's no air in the system. How would I do that? Thanks much matt

Most bleed out air just steering the car both ways to the end of travel a few times. There could be a problem with the pump itself or a problem with a made up hose. Hard to say from here, T
