Problems Hyundai ix35 2010 Sign In

Hi Hope you can help. I have a 2010 ix35, a few weeks ago the speedometer started being erratic going up and down when driving and stationary. Then about a week later my reverse camera stopped working, no camera or beeping sound. Then two days ago the sat nav started playing up, the location of my vehicle is always wrong and the arrow on the map does not move when I'm driving. I would be grateful if you could tell me if these things are connected and what the problem is. The radio and phone still work as they should. Thank you Carol

Re: Problems Hyundai ix35 2010 Sign In

Been ages Kev2 on bad a bad diode of the three would show as lower voltages with items in use but possible to keep a charge just enough in battery to keep running indefinitely but used to show a warning light or low on a gauge.

All these funky features want to work within that range a car/vehicle should run at and it might not run tech stuff properly at all but could run. Quick check with a voltmeter with items like headlights, blower, RWD on and see voltage even at idle should stay in spec,

"speedometer started being erratic going up and down when driving and stationary"..... my takeaway was based on the speedo erratic when STATIONARY, classic diode issue as the AC voltages plays havoc with sensors.
