Ok, so I'm going to keep it fairly simple here. I have a 2001 Chevrolet Cavalier. Engine size 2.2 if I'm not mistaken, at about 100,000 miles (not bad to my understanding). Now I have few issues. Issue 1) There is a clicking while the car is running. I can't tell where it's originating from, but it does speed up when I accelerate. 2) When the car is first started up, the dash lights and the fan usually start off rather slow, then brighten and speed up after a few seconds of the car being on. 3) The car has randomly died a few times while sitting at idle. Once or twice while sitting in a parking lot, and then once at a light. It starts right back up, but when it dies, the battery light comes on. 4) The radio cuts out at seemingly random times. I can't get it to trigger at any set event, but when it does begin to cut out, bumps seem to make the issue worse until the issue resolves itself. 5) The car seems to idle higher and lower at rhythmic intervals. I've taken the car to a mechanic, who informed me that the clicking was the timing chain and tensioner, however, the timing chain and tensioner were replaced after the chain went out back in 2010. He also informed me that the alternator, fuel pump, and battery needed replaced. The belt has already been replaced in recent years, but we have had a rather rough winter in Illinois. Can anyone give me a secondary opinion on what may be wrong? I'm running out of options and resources. I'm terribly sorry if I'm not providing enough information, but I'll provide everything I can upon request. Thank you for any replies.

You have 5 different problems there. You need to ask 5 separate questions. If you start hopping from one problem to another, nobody can follow it. Please select which one you want to ask about here and delete the rest.

Wild maybe? Is belt too loose on this? Tensioner making noise not being able to maintain tension for some reason enough and just maybe all related except the bumps thing?
