I have a 2000 Pontiac Bonneville. The light on the left-hand side of the display of the radio has gone out. I cannot see the time of day or station I am on. Any suggestions?

If the radio still plays and holds its memory after you turn the car off and then back on; the problem is inside the radio and most time takes a radio/electronics person to repair this. The display is a LCD, LED or it could be an incandescent bulb to back-light the display but they’ll be hard soldered into a circuit board. Call around to local repair shops and you may find it’ll be cheaper to have an after market system installed and likely of better quality. I know whatever happened to just replacing bulbs? Dan.
