Rear Wiper Motor Repair Sign In

Hi there,

My rear wiper motor is no longer working. A part has snapped on the inside.

I've taken the motor off in hope I can repair it rather than replace, but I was hoping to get some advice before attempting anything.

Here is an image of the part that's snapped:

(the underside of the white nub part on the arm should be connected to the metal part on the cog as far as I'm aware)

The car is a Hyundai Matrix 07 1.6.

Any ideas?

Am I going to have to buy a new motor?

Get new stuff. Yes you can spend a week and a day trying to mess with this type stuff but not worth it IMO,

That is the motor itself. Just get a new or remanufactured one.
