I have a 1995 Saturn SC1 motor in a trike body. I can get it started and running for 4 or 5 minutes and when I turn the key off, it will crank but not start back up. Once I let it cool off for awhile, it will start up, but only after cooling off for 30 minutes or so. The computer has been reprogrammed to run without accessories. It has a new fuel pump, new fuel regulator, cleaned the fuel rail and injectors. Any suggestions on what I need to look into next?

Why on earth someone would put one of the worst motors ever made into something other than the crap car it came from is beyond me. But go to the basics. Check for codes in the ECM. When it will not start check for spark and injector pulse. The fact it does currently run at times means to me that it has compression. But this engine has absolute dog turd castings for heads and if it has ever gotten hot they like to crack. Is there any oil in your coolant? Does it get hot before it won't restart?
