Speedometer trouble Sign In

I have a 93 GMC Gimmy 4X4. The speedometer died, it wouldn't even activate when turning on the key. I replaced the speed sensor and drac module. Now the speedometer activates when turing on the key but stiil won't register any speed.
What do I need to do next?

Re: Speedometer trouble Sign In

Does the odometer still work normally? If so and all other functions as in gauges and warning lights, then you’re likely into a new/rebuilt cluster.

also might be the gear that is in the transmission that send the speed signal to your VSS might be worn out and no longer spin. have that hceck out before any expensive repairs are made.
