Splash shield trouble Sign In

So one of the splash shield clip came out and the hole is too big to just use a new clip.
I'm gonna just replace them with some nuts/bolts and washers. More sturdy.
I've replace the 1 clip with ziptie for now.

Now the splash shield itself is bent out of the original shape.
But there is still a huge gaping hole around it because the ziptie (and nut/bolt/washer in the future) is only holding the shield up in one spot.
And it makes a wicked sound when car is going anything beyond 40mph.
I tried taping it with some duct tape but tape keeps falling off.
I would like to try other ways of fixing it myself before having to replace it at the dealer (dirt poor student here).

Anyone has some brilliant ideas how to fix this besides taping it or replace the shield?

2013 Camry here.
Any response/suggestion appreciated.

Well, there's the obvious one..................... buy a new splash shield and don't drive over the curbing stops any more..

Push pins come in different sizes.........just get a bigger one and make the other hole bigger......

If the hole has got too big for a bigger push pin,,,,,the as HT says.....it would be best to get a new shield
