2002 Nissan Sentra SE-R Spec V 75,000 miles 2.5 ltr 4 cyl 6spd trans i have a very annoying problem that has me a little perplexed. my steering wheel squeaks like a crying mouse when i turn the wheel after driving for a little while. if the car sits for a moderate period of time, the noise goes away only to come back again after driving for about 10-15 min. this is a new problem. it makes the noise regardless which position the tilt column is in. it makes the noise in both the left and right turns\ thanks for any ideas __________________________________________________ 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee 2002 Ford Ranger 2004 Toyota Corolla 1969 Ford Mustang Mach 1

I can't remember for sure on this model but on some in between the wheel & the colum there is a button that contacts the horn plate. The plate turns the button is stationary. When the plate gets dry you get a squeeking noise on turns. If you lay down on your back & look up between the wheel & colum you can see the button & plate. I just put a little di-electric grease on a pocket screw driver to get on the plate & then rotate the wheel.....
