Trickle Charge question

i thought that if i charged a car battery on a really low charge (2 amp) or trickel charge - it was imposibel to overcharge a batter. am i wrong?

YES! It must be automatic/floating and stop charging when done so even low charge rate could burn out a battery if just left on too long,
