I have a 2000 dodge neon and I am having trouble with it overheating. It started Today. Yestarday it was leaking oil from the gasket so I got it replaced today so now it not leaking. But when I was driving early to get the replacement part it overheated and turn off. Then after I replaced the gasket I drove it the store and the gauge steadly started climbing up and then it went all the way to the red so I stopped the car. Please help want could be the problem it has 151,000 miles on it.

You probably have a warped head did you check with stright edge and feeler gauges?.. You could also have a airlock in the system too. You should get your hands on a chemical sniffer to see if there is any CO in the coolant. If it's bad enough take the cap off with it running you might see bubbles coming from the coolant.
