Quick question. My 99 Grand Prix has a tendency to vibrate when going down the highway at relatively high speed. It is not so noticeable at low speeds. I know the tires are good-just got the front ones replaced about two months ago. I had my mechanic check out my CV joints..he didn't see anything wrong...he said maybe there is a little play in the one wheel but he said not to be concerned about it. Any idea what is causing it? I also notice its worse on some roads than others (not sure what the difference could be)

Can be tough to pin this down. Rotating tires and inspect for worn suspension parts would help. Check for uneven tire wear, spin to see wheel trueness. A brake dragging can do this too but usually would pull to one side when brakes are applied and you might notice one wheel warmer than corresponding other. Tires themselves can suffer tread separation that's hard to see until wear shows uneven, T
