I had replaced my alternator about 4/5 months ago when the tester read "voltage regulator" was bad. I bought a used one from the junk yard. I think a couple weeks later it would just randomly stop working again, but now it's not working at all. Needs a jump start each time. The tester machine is saying it's the same problem, the voltage regulator, but could it be a different issue like computer/electrical issue? Thanks in advance for replying with possible issues that it could be.

That happens all the time on those Maserati's.
