So it'll start over and over again with no issue at all and then sometimes (this has happened only a handful of times) it'll act like it has a dead battery. The lights on the dash will go dim along with the headlights and it will not start. Not even the "tchk" sound that a dead battery/bad connection will give you when you try to turn the key to ignition. I'll try and push start it and it'll have no affect on the engine. Then after about 5 minutes, or so, I'll put the key in and everything will light up and it will start as if nothing was ever wrong. The connections on the battery are clean... hell, I put a new battery and new terminals on trying to resolve the issue. Is there a common problem that is known with a certain cable grounding out after a while or a fuse that would cause this problem on this car? 2009 Honda Fit Sport w/ manual transmission. Thank you!

Still smacks of battery cable end problems. Did you get vehicle specific cable ends or just those temporary universal ones? Those are not up to par for most anything if so. New enough, if cables are already trouble whole new ones should be available, T
