Window issue Sign In

Alright so my girlfreind has got a 1997 oldsmobile aurora equipped with a sunroof. This is a problem I'm not familiar with. 3 of her windows don't roll down. Her drivers side window and sunroof work fine. The other 3 don't. My first thought was obviously the motors so I went ahead and bought a replacement motor for the passenger front side. When I took the door off and took the old motor out, tried to put the new motor in, the new motor still wouldnt run. My first thought was that the new motor was bad but I decided I should investigate further just to make sure I wasnt missing something. So I took the drivers side door off, took its motor out, and plugged the passenger side motors into the drivers side. To my surprise, both the new one AND the old one ran just fine. Come to find out that all the motors work fine, there is another issue. I thought about the window lock but I tried playing with it with no avail..Not to mention even with window lock on the windows should still be able to roll down from the drivers master switch. I noticed that when you roll down the drivers side, you can hear the relay click, but all the other windows no matter which switch panel you use, do not make the relay click sound. I don't have a multimeter so I couldnt check the big fuses under the back seat to see if they were blown, because you can't see through them to know if they are or not, and I'm not sure exactly which one would control the three windows even with the fuse schematic anyways. I'd really like to get her windows working, so let me know if you guys have any thoughts.

Re: Window issue Sign In

Kinda sounds like the lock out so other windows won't work is the issue. A simple test light to see if power is going thru master switch. If so reverse test light and see if they get ground,
