Windshield Repair Sign In

I have another question. I have a bullet crack in my windshield. Could I use a windshield repair kit from pep boys or something.. Or should I go and have it done by someone else? Also I heard that my car insurance company might pay for the repair. Has anyone heard of this?

Try contacting your car insurance company... they may waive the deductable to have this repaired sincenow it will be only a $100 compared to if it cracks more it will cost them a lot more.....

I agree with carjunky, but make sure that you are not giving the insurance company an out if the windshield cracks anyway after the attempted repair.

Good point Dan, I will make sure that its only to cover the repair of the windshield, and not an out if the windshield cracks during the repair, which could very well happen...

Lets hope not.
