Winshield Wipers?

I just bought a truck and the windshield wipers overshot the winshield so i adjusted them down and they still overshoot the windshield.. Do they have a type of stopper or something?

What make, model and year of truck is this? I know every vehicle has wipers but every manufacturer and even the same manufacturers different models have different wiper systems. Some of the older vehicles wiper linkages were adjustable but most of today’s are not. If the wipers are not following there intended path there’s something worn out or bent.
